Ume Shinkokan in Minabe is a town facility for learning plum history and local culture, with history and plum-exhibit floors plus a product corner. Official pages say admission is free. Closed every Tuesday (the next day when Tuesday is a holiday) and 29–31 December; it is open every day in February. For August 2026, special closed days are listed as 4, 18, 19, and 25 August. Confirm closed days before you visit.
