Located in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, the Kusakabe Folk Museum is housed in a traditional merchant house that flourished during the Tenryo era. The building was reconstructed in 1889 to faithfully replicate Edo period architectural styles after a fire. Designated as an Important Cultural Property in 1966, the facility utilizes its storehouse as an exhibition space for artworks and folk crafts, including Shibasawa pottery from the Kusakabe family lineage.
