Ike Sun Park

Located in Higashi-Ikebukuro, Ike Sun Park is a large park and disaster prevention site. The grounds feature an expansive lawn area, cherry and ginkgo trees, and a firebreak zone of Shirakashi trees to prevent the spread of fire. Facilities include a storage warehouse, a deep well for firefighting water, and emergency toilets. It functions as a temporary evacuation site and a logistics base for supplies in the event of a disaster.
