鳴子峡

Located in Osaki City, Naruko Gorge is a scenic gorge formed by the Otani River flowing through a plateau of rhyolite and tuff. The canyon stretches for approximately 4 kilometers with cliff heights reaching between 80 and 100 meters. It features various unique rock formations such as Tateishi and Shishigawa. The area is known for its dense clusters of Mizunara and other trees that create vibrant autumn foliage against the rocky landscape.
