Located in Miyagi Prefecture, the Tōhoku History Museum displays the history of the entire Tōhoku region across nine sections divided by different eras. The general exhibition room covers history from the Paleolithic period to modern times. Additional themed rooms showcase specific topics such as life during the Showa era, Sendai chests, and intangible cultural properties from various locations throughout the Tōhoku region.
