Shiogama Shrine Museum

鹽竈神社博物館

Shiogama Shrine Museum, on the shrine grounds, collects and exhibits treasures and historical materials related to Shiogama Shrine. Official pages say it opened on 1 November 1965 to preserve and publicly share that long history for education, featuring nationally Important Cultural Property swords such as Rai Kunimitsu and Unsho along with arms, paintings, crafts, and documents.
