二ツ森貝塚

Futatsumori Shell Midden in Shichinohe is presented as one of Aomori’s largest shell middens, used roughly 5,500 to 4,000 years ago. Official tourism pages note its role as a component of the UNESCO World Heritage Jomon Prehistoric Sites in Northern Japan, with a preserved park area, two reconstructed pit dwellings, a Jomon forest setting, paths, and a visitor guide.
