Teshiodake Prefectural Natural Park

Located in the northern part of Hokkaido within the Kitami Mountains, Teshiodake Prefectural Natural Park is a mountainous landscape centered on Mount Teshiodake, which reaches an elevation of 1,558 meters. The area features alpine plant communities and narrow valleys with minimal human impact. The park is known for its diverse wildlife, including birds such as the black woodpecker and mammals like the Ezo deer and pika. It serves as a location for mountaineering and nature exploration.
