Located in the Matsuyama district of Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture, the Matsuyama Cultural Heritage Museum serves as a center for preserving and promoting local history and culture. The facility functions to collect and research local materials, exhibit works by local artists, and promote folk performing arts. The museum includes several exhibition rooms and a memorial room dedicated to Keiji Mashimo.
