Mizuko Shell Mound

Mizuko Shell Mound is a nationally designated historic site in Fujimi. Official city pages say the adjoining Jomon Fureai Plaza Mizuko Shell Mound Park opened in June 1994, with the Mizuko Shell Mound Museum nearby forming an outdoor museum of site, exhibits, and nature. It is used for school learning and community events. Confirm museum hours before you visit if you plan to enter the museum.
