Fujimino Municipal Memorial Museum of Fukuoka Riverport

ふじみ野市立福岡河岸記念館

Located in Saitama Prefecture, the Fujimino Municipal Memorial Museum of Fukuoka Riverport preserves and opens a designated cultural property building known as Fukudaya. This Meiji-era merchant house reconstructs the atmosphere of a boat wholesaler that served the Shin-Kashiwagawa river transport route between Edo and the local region from the Edo period to the early Showa era. The interior exhibition rooms display information regarding river transportation, the lives of wholesalers, and the achievements of the tenth head, Senzo Hoshino.
