Nagano Prefectural Museum of History presents Shinshu life from prehistoric times to the present through permanent galleries visitors can see and touch across five eras. Official pages currently feature the special exhibition “Treasures of Togakushi: Faith and Tradition Preserved” (11 July–23 August 2026) on temple treasures that survived disasters, plus summer children’s events and castle bird’s-eye drawings by Miyasaka Takeo.
