Located in Kyoto Prefecture, the Kaya Camellia Culture Museum features a unique exterior designed to resemble the shape of camellia petals. The museum provides information on the Taki no Tsubaki, a designated cultural property of Kyoto Prefecture. Its exhibition rooms display various arts and crafts related to camellias donated by an expert, as well as details regarding local life in the nearby Ohwada settlement. An adjacent garden contains fifty camellia trees from across Japan.
