Located on Churui Island in Hokkaido, the Marimo Exhibition and Observation Center is a facility where visitors can observe special natural monument marimo and learn about their ecology. The interior features a large tank replicating the bottom of Lake Akan, where natural marimo are displayed. The outdoor area includes a section for observing fish such as ikey and amemas found in Lake Akan, along with an observation space for viewing the surroundings.
