Nariwa Museum

高梁市成羽美術館

Nariwa Museum in Takahashi opened in 1953 as Okayama’s first town art museum to honor Western-style painter Torajiro Kojima of Nariwa. Official pages say the third-generation building designed by Tadao Ando opened on the current site in 1994, with concrete walls set amid greenery, and the name became Takahashi City Nariwa Museum of Art in 2009.
