Kōriyama City Kaiseikan

郡山市開成館

Kōriyama City Kaiseikan is a history site on Asaka settlement and the Asaka Canal at 3-3-7 Kaisei, Kōriyama, Fukushima, postal code 963-8851; telephone/fax 024-923-2157. It opened in 1968 (Showa 43). Official pages state that, due to the Fukushima Prefecture Offshore Earthquake of 13 February Reiwa 3, buildings other than the main Kaiseikan hall are currently open to the public. Hours are 10:00–17:00 (last entry 16:30); closed Mondays. Adult admission is 200 yen; high-school and university students 100 yen; junior-high and below free. Confirm which buildings are open before travel.
