Located in Okayama Prefecture, the Kasaoka Horseshoe Crab Museum is the only museum in the world centered on horseshoe crabs. The building's design is inspired by the shape of a horseshoe crab and overlooks the Kijima Strait, a site designated as a natural monument for its breeding grounds. The facility also features an adjacent dinosaur park with life-sized models supervised by experts.
