Hanatori Otsuka Art Museum opened on 10 June 1994 as a corporate mecenat project of the Takaya Group’s third-generation president, the late Choiroku Otsuka, marking the group’s centenary. Official pages say holdings of about 600 works center on roughly 300 pieces by nihonga painter Keika Kinashima of nearby Fukuyama, shown in themed galleries including a multipurpose Hanatori room for tea gatherings and lectures.
