The aquarium is currently open 9:00 to 18:00 with last entry at 17:30; on the 21st of the month it opens at 10:00. Admission is 2200 yen for adults high-school and older, 1200 yen for elementary and junior-high students, and 600 yen for ages 4 and up; seniors 65 and over receive a 200 yen discount with ID. There is no dedicated free parking, so use nearby paid lots. Official pages currently note that flamboyant cuttlefish are not on display until about mid-October after the deep-sea trawl closed season. Confirm same-day hours before travel.
