Awashima Marine Park

Awashima Marine Park is an island aquarium and frog museum at Uchiura Juji 186, Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture (postal code 410-0221; telephone 055-941-3126). The park currently operates year-round with no regular closed day. Summer hours from March through October are 9:30 to 17:00 with ticket sales roughly 9:20 to 15:30; winter hours from November through February are 10:00 to 16:30. Admission including the short boat ride is 3000 yen for adults junior-high and older and 1500 yen for ages 4 through elementary school. As of 2026-06-23 the island-back walkway remains closed for safety checks after heavy rain. Confirm boat and path notices before travel.
