Heda Shipbuilding Museum

沼津市戸田造船郷土資料博物館

Located at the tip of Toda Ohama Cape in Shizuoka Prefecture, this museum displays shipbuilding materials and history related to the Heda, Japan's first full-scale Western-style sailing ship built during the late Edo period. The adjacent Suruga Bay Deep Sea Biology Museum features exhibits about deep-sea fish found in the local area.
