Hiyoshi Tōshō-gū was built in 1623 under Tokugawa Iemitsu at the foot of Mount Hiei and is managed today by Hiyoshi Taisha. The official page notes gongen-zukuri shrine architecture, Important Cultural Property designation of the shrine buildings, and an interior viewing fee of 300 yen on weekends, holidays, and selected weekdays. Visitors can review access from Hiyoshi Taisha and parking notes before climbing to this Tokugawa shrine.
