古河総合公園

Koga Sogo Park is presented on its official site as Koga Kubo Park, a roughly 22.4-hectare park in Koga City with restored Gosho Marsh, Kubo-related historic sites, and a folk house museum of thatched farmhouses. Spring brings about 1800 peach blossoms, and summer fills about 3000 square meters of ponds with Ohga lotus flowers revived from seeds more than 2000 years old. Grounds open from sunrise to sunset; the management building, parking, and outdoor stage run 9:00-17:00, with the management building closed 28 December to 4 January. Folk house museum hours are 9:00-16:45 from March through November and 9:00-15:45 from December through February, closed Mondays and Tuesdays plus 29 December to 3 January, except March through May when it opens daily. Call Koga City Cultural Promotion at 0280-22-5111 for folk-museum temporary closures.
