Koga Museum of Literature opened in 1998 as Ibaraki’s first literature museum in a Taisho-romantic Western-style building. Official pages highlight works by Koga-related writers such as Nagai Michiko, Kobayashi Hisazo, and Sae Shuichi, materials linked to the children’s magazine Kodomo no Kuni, salon concerts and readings, and the annex restored former home of Nagai Michiko.
