Nanto Kagami Shrine

南都鏡神社

Located in Nara Prefecture, Nanto Kagami Shrine was established as a guardian for Shinyakushiji Temple. The main hall is designated as a cultural property of Nara City and was received from the Kasuga shrines. Records found during repairs indicate that the current building retains its appearance from a construction period in 1746. The enshrined deities include Amaterasu Omigami, Fujiwara no Hirotsugu, and Jishin. Several historical sites are located nearby.
