Denshōen

伝承園

Located in Iwate Prefecture, Denshōen is a facility dedicated to preserving and passing down the traditional lifestyle and culture of the Tono region. The grounds recreate historical farming lifestyles and include the Kikuchi House, a designated Important Cultural Property. Visitors can view exhibits on traditional ways of life and visit a memorial hall dedicated to Kiyoshi Sasaki, a narrator of the Tales of Tono.
