Tōno Folktale Museum

とおの物語の館

Tono Folktale Museum welcomes visitors back to the hometown of Japanese folktales. Official pages describe a sake-storehouse gallery of local legends, the former Takazen Inn where Kunio Yanagita stayed as a folklore research base (Registered Tangible Cultural Property), and his relocated former residence exhibit, with hours 9:00–17:00 and last entry at 16:30.
