Otaru Aquarium sits amid a quasi-national park landscape and is known for dolphin splash shows, sea lion dives, and penguin programs. Official materials list timed animal presentations—including dolphin, seal, penguin, and sea lion sessions—along with a touch area called Sawatte Ezone. The aquarium also offers seasonal events such as night openings and educational aquarium workshops.
