Temiya Cave is a nationally designated historic site with rock carvings from about 1600 years ago, preserved in the Temiya Cave Preservation Hall. Official city pages describe figures such as horned people linked to broader Japan Sea cultural exchange. Opening hours are 9:30–17:00; closed Tuesdays (with holiday substitutions) and for winter closure from 5 November through 28 April. General admission is 100 yen. Confirm winter closure before you visit.
