Minegaoka Hachiman Shrine in Kawaguchi is traditionally linked to Minamoto no Tsunemoto and dated to the Tengyo era (938–947). Official shrine pages describe about 7700 square meters of grounds with a roughly 700-year-old ginkgo and more than 400 trees designated as a city natural monument. Reception is listed as 9:00–16:00, and temporary shrine-office closures are sometimes posted. Confirm prayer hours before you visit.
