Tourist attractions

西条酒蔵通り

Saijo Sake District, also known as Saijo Sake Brewery Street in Higashihiroshima, is one of Japan's leading sake-producing areas and is often named alongside Nada and Fushimi. Around JR Saijo Station, seven breweries continue to operate amid red-brick chimneys, red-tiled roofs, and white or namako-kabe brewery walls. The street includes the national historical site Saijo Sake Brewery Group. Some breweries offer tastings of sake and brewing water, and visitors can buy products or stop at the Saijo Sake Brewery Street Tourist Information Center.
