Located in Setagaya, Fukasawa Shrine was originally established in 1564 as a branch of the Mishima Shrine in Izu. In 1921, the shrine buildings were reconstructed and renamed to Fukasawa Shrine after merging seven local shrines, including two Tenso Shrines, Hachiman Shrine, two Inari Shrines, Ontake Shrine, and Yamagiwa Shrine.
