Tatsuyuki Takano Memorial Hall in Nagae, Nakano City, Nagano Prefecture (telephone 0269-38-3070) opened in April 1991 to preserve the legacy of lyricist and scholar Tatsuyuki Takano, born in 1876 and famed for Ministry of Education songs such as Furusato. Official city pages list opening hours from 9:00 to 17:00 in March through November and from 9:30 to 16:00 in December through February, with last entry 30 minutes before closing. Closed on Tuesdays except public holidays from 1 April 2025, and from 29 December to 3 January. Admission is 300 yen for adults and 150 yen for high-school students and younger, with listed free categories. Confirm temporary closures before travel.
