Kumano Nachi Taisha

熊野那智大社

Located in Wakayama Prefecture, Kumano Nachi Taisha is one of the three grand shrines of Kumano. It serves as the head shrine for over 5,000 Kumano shrines across Japan and is recognized as a significant spiritual site. The sanctuary is associated with the deity Kumano Fushimi Ookami and has been known since ancient times as Musubimiya, a place where various prayers and connections are gathered.
