Kōchi Castle Museum of History

高知県立高知城歴史博物館

Located in front of Kōchi Castle, this museum serves as a center for the history and culture of Tosa. The exhibition halls feature historical materials related to the Tosa Domain and Kochi Prefecture during the Edo period. Another section displays samurai equipment belonging to the Yamauchi family, who were the lords of the domain, along with works of art from Tosa and Japan.
