Ōtsu City Science Museum

大津市科学館

Otsu City Science Museum provides exhibition floors, planetarium programs, and an astronomy dome, with exhibition hall hours 9:00 to 16:30 and telephone 077-522-1907. Because of planetarium renewal works, group planetarium bookings are accepted only through 23 September 2026, with reopening planned for spring 2027; the exhibition hall remains available during the works. Visitors should confirm schedules before travel to Hommaru-cho in Otsu.
