Miyabe Kingo Memorial Building

宮部金吾記念館

Located in Sapporo, Hokkaido, the Miyabe Kingo Memorial Building was built in 1901 and designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan in 2000. The building honors Professor Miyabe Kingo, a former student of Sapporo Agricultural College and the first director of the botanic garden. It displays items related to his work, including his college notebooks, microscope, and field notes recording plant collections.
