Located in Kumamoto Prefecture, the Aso Volcano Museum features a large-scale diorama of the Aso Volcano designed by special effects art director Yasuyuki Inoue. The facility includes a five-screen multi-theater that presents the history of the volcano over tens of thousands of years and utilizes real-time projection mapping to display the current state of the crater.
