Shitamachi Museum

Located in Taito City, the Shitamachi Museum was established to preserve and pass on the culture and traditions of the Shitamachi area, which is considered the traditional heart of Tokyo. The museum features a recreated Japanese lantern shop and a rear tenement where visitors can see daily items from that period. The facility also hosts exhibitions related to seasonal annual events.
