Sendai Kaleidoscope Museum

仙台万華鏡美術館

Located at the entrance of Akyo Onsen, the Sendai Kaleidoscope Museum opened in August 1999. This interactive museum allows visitors to see, touch, and create kaleidoscopes. The exhibition rooms on the second and third floors feature rotating displays that change every season. Additionally, the museum showcases works by female ceramic artist Teruko Tsuji. The first floor houses a museum shop and an experience area where visitors can participate in making their own kaleidoscopes.
