Meiji Jingū

Shinto shrines

明治神宮

Meiji Jingū is a major Shinto shrine in Tokyo dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shōken. Its distinctive omikuji, called Ōmikokoro, do not give good- or bad-luck fortunes; instead, they present 30 selected poems by the enshrined imperial couple with explanatory text.
