Tonami Provincial Museum occupies a Meiji 42 (1909) former Chuetsu Bank building relocated into Tulip Park in Showa 57 (1982). Official city pages say the Western-style Meiji architecture is a designated cultural property of Tonami City, with hours from 9:00 to 17:00 and closures on Mondays, holidays, the third Sunday each month, and year-end/New Year.
