Tendō Municipal Former Higashi-Murayama County Office Building Museum

天童市立旧東村山郡役所資料館

Located at the foot of Mt. Maizurayama in Yamagata Prefecture, this museum is housed in a Western-style building constructed in 1879 as the Higashi-Murayama District Office. Designated as a tangible cultural property of Yamagata Prefecture in 1972, it displays over 240 items related to the Tendo Oda Clan and the period surrounding the Meiji Restoration. The facility also hosts various special exhibitions, including displays of dolls.
