Togakushi Shrine

Togakushi Shrine is a five-shrine complex—Okusha, Chusha, Hokosha, Kuzuryusha, and Hinomikosha—at the foot of sacred mountains above Nagano City. Official English pages describe an approximately 500-meter cedar path from Zuishinmon Gate to Okusha within a protected forest reserve, and note that buses from Nagano Station take about one hour, with Okusha reached from the Togakushi Okusha Iriguchi stop (winter routes may change).
