Mishine-no-mikura

Shinto shrines

御稲御倉

Mishine-no-mikura is a subordinate shrine of Kotaijingu (Naiku) at Ise Jingu that stores the sacred rice offered at the three major seasonal festivals. Harvested from the shrine rice fields, the rice is dedicated here for the Tsukinami and Kanname rites. Though small, the building shows classic shinmei-zukuri features within the Naiku precinct.
