Located in Iwate Prefecture, this botanical garden serves as a site for research and education in fields such as botany, agriculture, and forestry. The grounds cover approximately 49,500 square meters and feature over 800 species of plants, including many from overseas. The area includes a pond with aquatic plants and is open to the general public.
