Opened in 1986, the Ani Foreigners House and Folklore Museum preserves the history of the prosperous Ani mining district. The museum displays mineral specimens such as pyrite and quartz from local mines, historical tools, Edo-period work maps, and unique coins used only at the site. Exhibits also include a survey report by German engineer Metzger, records on mutual aid systems for workers, and folk materials including costumes for traditional songs and information on notable figures from the area.
