Yakuno Tree and Lacquer Museum

Located in Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Prefecture, the Yakuno Tree and Lacquer Museum opened to share the local culture and appeal of lacquerware. Situated within a roadside station, the facility features an experience workshop where visitors can try various lacquer coating techniques. The museum also houses a reference room for learning about regional history, displays materials related to lacquer production, and sells products finished with traditional lacquer.
