Dejima Museum presents the restored fan-shaped island once used for Dutch trade in Nagasaki City. Official pages state the current restoration aims to recreate early-nineteenth-century Dejima from the era of Opperhoofd Blomhoff and physician Siebold, with sixteen buildings already restored including the Capitan's quarters. Viewing hours are from 8:00 to 21:00 with last entry at 20:40, and admission is 1,100 yen for adults and 550 yen for elementary through high-school students with no group discount.
