Izumi Fumoto History Museum is the orientation hub for Izumi’s Important Preservation District of historic samurai residences, once a major Satsuma outer castle facing Higo. Official city pages describe dioramas, 4K aerial film, a 1/1000 terrain model, archival displays, VR experiences, and permanent rooms that introduce the outer-castle organization and local life before walking the bamboo-zaka mansion streets.
